JAPANESE CAFE AT PROGO BANDUNG

Bandung has many hangout cafes in english name. On Progo road, they lied near between example : giggle box, the strudels, hummingbird, and tokyo connection. Progo road in 1990's was a very quite and dark in the night but now turned into a full parking lot jammed road espesially on saturday and Sunday.

I choosed tokyo connection to got lunch with my relatives. When i first into these cafe after a long search for parking spaces, luckily i still got a seat. It was holyday time, so many people crowded in every seat.

I took the menu, and i started to looking for food that i want to eat most. The menu listed various types of sushi, ramen, beef rice, curry, and other japanese food. The price is friendly, so i ordered for ocha tea, ramen beef, beef rice teriyaki, and some icy beverages. The price range from Rp 8000 for ocha tea and Rp 30.000 for beef rice teriyaki. It was suprised that ramen beef only Rp 24.000 for a huge bowl of noodle.

My impression after trying the food was quite tasty and the portions are huge, espesially ramen that make me surfeit. Atmosphere of the cafe quite pretty, but a wooden chair that i sit next to tumble because of iron brace underneath seat was folded.

Before i came out the cafe, i saw a small shop still inside the cafe that sells a unique items. There are a japanese wooden sandals, umbrellas, alarm clocks, saving VW cars from clay, cloths, bags, stationary and tamarind candy that very delicious.
